Carbon cycle models referred to by the IPCC are all-encompassing and they apply several sub-models designed for special tasks like CO2 exchange with plants. The objective of this presenta-tion is to analyze critically the IPCC’s carbon cycle model and to compare its key figures to the results of the 1DAOBM-3 model of Ollila.
